Parkrose wins the top prize with The Fitzroy Club project

The joinery division of Stortford Interiors (UK), Parkrose, has won Gold in the Specialist Joinery category at the 2016 FIS Contractors Awards for their work at Fitzroy Place Residents Facility, The Fitzroy Club.

Parkrose scooped the ultimate industry award at the FIS Contractors Awards, hosted during the FIS Presidents Lunch on 7th June at London’s iconic Dorchester Hotel in the company of business leaders from across the finishes and interiors sector.

Parkrose were appointed by Sir Robert McAlpine to deliver a comprehensive fit-out package for The Fitzroy Club, comprising of bespoke Fumed Oak doorsets and panelling, reception desks and cabinetry. Located in the heart of central London, the Club offers a wide range of high-end facilities including a private eighteen seat cinema, state-of-the-art gym, massage room, executive lounge and conference room.

Judges were impressed by the high quality installation and levels of workmanship delivered in a varied package. This also included leather bench seating, automated sliding glass doors, Crittall glazed screens, feature fireplaces and acoustic wall panelling.

The leading industry award this year follows the joinery and washroom fit-out specialist’s Certificate of Excellence at the 2015 event for The Garrick Club project and Stortford Interiors’ Gold for Ceilings for their work for international law firm, Wragge Lawrence Graham & Co.
